I am a 3rd year Honours student at York University studying Psychology. Family, connection and bond means a lot to people. Being part of Project Tight Knit not only allows me to help people bring that missing joy back in their life and help with their feelings of isolation, but also just be there for them and do my part in giving back to the community.

I am a 4th year Bachelor's student at York University studying Biology.
I decided to join Project Tight Knit because I strongly believe no one should have to experience the effects of social isolation, and for those going through loneliness, the outsized benefit of even one caring letter is a positive change I could not be more glad to be a part of.

I am a recent graduate of Honours in Biomedical Sciences at York University. During my time volunteering at Ontario Shores, I developed a close relationship with a patient and observed how our daily conversations positively impacted their mental well-being. This experience inspired me to join Project Tight Knit.
